Hi, I’m Jaime. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m the owner of Sourgrass Clothing Co., and if you’ve ever stopped by the shop, chances are we’ve chatted like old friends. I’ve never met a stranger, and one of my favorite things about owning a boutique is getting to know the amazing women who walk through the door.
Before Sourgrass, I spent nearly 30 years in the salon industry helping women feel confident and beautiful. Over the years, I realized that great style can do the very same thing. Clothing isn’t just about what you wear—it’s about how you feel when you put it on. That’s what inspired me to create Sourgrass.
My goal has always been simple: to create a welcoming place where women can find pieces that fit their lifestyle, make them feel confident, and reflect who they are. No pressure. No judgment. Just great clothes, honest advice, and a lot of fun along the way.
When I’m not at the store, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family. I’m the proud mom of a grown young man that I absolutely adore, and being his mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
I’m also a dog lover through and through. If you bring your dog into the store, there’s a very good chance I’ll be on the floor giving belly rubs before we even talk about clothes. Honestly, I have to pet every dog I meet.
One thing that surprises people is that I coach a local youth Trap Shooting team. Watching young athletes build confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship is something I’m incredibly passionate about.

- I’m rarely far from an iced vanilla latte.
- Kauai is my happy place, but truthfully, any beach will do.
- There’s always a book in my bag.
- I’m denim obsessed. You can’t have too many jeans!
- I’m known for my unique hair and a friendly smile.
- I believe getting dressed should be fun.
- Life is too short to save your favorite outfit for a special occasion.
Sourgrass is more than a boutique to me. It’s a community of women supporting women, celebrating life’s everyday moments, and embracing personal style at every stage of life.
